Pistol Progression 4

Now we're going to take the pistol shape, and try to get into it standing on the ground. With this level we'll go through the mechanics with a box behind us.

1) Place a box behind you and start in a pistol shape with your front leg off the ground.
2) Hinge at the hips and sit on the box.
3) Stand back up

As you stand, don't let the front foot touch the ground. To do this, you really want to hinge at the hip. Just focus on squatting with one leg.
