Muscle Up Progression 1

We're going to start talking about the muscle up, and start with a set of rings and a band.

The muscle up is simple the ring row into a pushup.

1) Place a band on top of a set of rings

2) Bring the band behind your back, and wrap it over the ring and hold on tight.

3) Jump up and take a seat comfortably on the band.

4) Fall through the rings and try to come into the bottom of your dip.

5) Allow the rings to rotate however they need to rotate.

The starting position therefore is the highest ring row you've ever done, and the finishing position is the deepest dip you've ever done. Don't worry about pulling, it's all about falling.
