Kipping Pullup Progression 4

In Level 4 we will combine the kip in Level 3 with the pullup that you've seen through Phase I and II.

1) Jump up and swing.

2) As your swinging, when your feet come in front of you try to small release of the hand and re-grip.

All you're doing is letting go of the hand a little bit and re-grip. There is a moment when you are weightless where you can let go of the bar slightly. That is the point where you can perform a pullup.

3) Once you have step 2, you are ready to perform a pullup.

The drill is:

1) Perform three swings
2) On the third swing perform a pullup and hold the top position for a few seconds.
3) Come down slowly.
