Kipping Pullup Progression 3

Now we're going to add a dynamic motion, known as a kip or a swing by extending and flexing the body from head the toes.

For this level, all I want you to focus on is if you can hang and change shapes with control and balance.

First start with the two basic positions:

1) Flexed Body Position: Hang with feet together, and go into a hallow body position.

2) Extended Body Position: Your feet should be behind you with your shoulders slightly behind your ears.

If you have those two positions, try to swing from one position to the other. If you're doing this correctly, you'll be able to freeze and stop and be completely balanced under the bar.
