Although many in-studio classes are labelled “beginner” or “all-levels,” they can still be too fast-paced or inaccessible. Beginner Yoga Flows was designed for anyone who has ever wondered, “Where do I start?” 

Dana welcomes newcomers with warm energy and easy-to-understand cues. The calm environment she creates encourages students to go at their own pace and make the practice their own. 

The five classes in this series are laid out in a simple 30-day calendar with daily tips and encouragements from Dana. This series is Vinyasa-free, meaning there are no special transition sequences between poses; instead, we'll build strength, mobility, and confidence as you explore your budding yoga practice. We begin with wrist mobility and shoulder strength, then broaden our focus to body awareness and basic yoga shapes. A brief introduction to meditation and pranayama (breath work) in the fifth class gives a taste of how to connect mind and body and become more present in your practice and life.
