This month-long beginner yoga series is for everyone! Yoga doesn't just happen on your mat. When you "embody yoga" you will learn to embrace self-acceptance in your everyday life! Yoga isn't easy and that's the point. Every day you will be given a safe and approachable yoga tutorial or flow class where we will challenge you to learn something new every day. Modifications are provided specifically for newer practitioners or those in larger bodies.
Dana’s technique-based classes will build body awareness and strength with foundational yoga postures like downward dog, chaturanga and warrior 1. Jessamyn’s restorative-focused classes work into flexibility and release tension with long-hold stretches. You'll also connect to the introspective side of the practice with an introduction to meditation and breath work. Their shared class is a lighthearted Sun Salutations flow where you’ll learn modifications you can take into any yoga class.
