The starter plan is the foundation of the 3-phase Olympic-style weightlifting program. We recommend completing this plan to become familiar with the relevant positions and movements before beginning Builder I, II, or III.

This plan is programmed for 3 workouts a week, for 4 weeks. Each workout is approximate 30-40 minutes long, and you will need access to equipment consisting of a PVC pipe, barbell, bumper plates, and 8'x8' open space to practice.

This Olympic-style weightlifting program has 3 phases, and this is the first phase. This phase begins to break down each lift into trainable components for the pull and catch, and then builds towards reconnecting these segments. This portion of the cycle is programmed for 3 weeks with 3 workouts a week.
