This 11-piece plan is the perfect way to build strength and awareness for your AcroYoga practice, and the best part about these workouts is that you can do them without a partner!

You may be asking: How does working alone help my partner-based practice? The answer is that by completing these solo workouts, you will develop a more clear and in-tune understanding of your body’s strength, alignment and balance so that when you bring this knowledge into an Acro partnership, you will be an even better partner!

Whether or not you’re an existing practitioner or new to Acro, these solo exercises were specifically designed to make you a strong, well-rounded partner. In this series, we focus on movements that will strengthen your shoulders and core while also improving your balance, body alignment and control through plank and crunch variations, headstand progressions, stability builders and more.

This plan is the perfect way to become comfortable and build trust with your partner. Because this plan does not involve aerial movements, it gives you the opportunity to learn to balance another person’s weight before taking to the air!

Not only will the ten videos in this series help improve your practice and your partner’s, it’s a practical application of gravity, bone, muscle, breath and movement through counterbalance postures such as Standing Chair, backbends, and Down Dog adjustments. You will learn new ways to move while we spend time going deep into how your body and your partner’s body move and carry weight.

This plan is a great place to begin your Acro journey because you will be able to get used to playing in space without having to take to the air. If you already have an existing Acro practice, these videos will sharpen your skills by deepening your knowledge of body awareness through control, alignment, tightness and balance making you a better and more supportive partner.
